Description
Wearing this hat will make you feel right at home here in Mosshollow Hill as well as connect you to our past.
Wet-felted Merino wool is adorned with natural botanicals, repurposed objects, shimmering ribbon, and friendly ostrich feathers from our former neighbor’s retired pet ostrich (that was a mouthful). Daisy, one of Mosshollow Hill’s Wensleydale/Romney ewes, kindly provided some of her locks for dyeing and a bit of added whimsy. The hat is worn like a headband using a fine elastic cord sewn into the base and adds elegance without the weight of a full hat. Wearing this will certainly liven up your next online meeting!
This is a collector’s item as it’s part of the final wool millinery collection designed by House of Wormwood which has since gone entirely plant-based.
The piece measures approximately 10″L x 10″W and is 5″H.
Due to sheltering-in-place, we responsibly opted to go model-free, so please visit our Portfolio gallery to see previously sold hats modeled by the lovely Elena. This will give you a size and scale.
